Integrity Toys convention 2015: Cinematic Part VIII: The Poppy Parker luncheon

Friday was all about workshops and shopping. Attendees though were eagerly anticipating the day's highlight: the Poppy Parker luncheon with designer David Buttry. Carol Roth, conducted an interview with David on stage at the luncheon to talk about what's in Poppy's future for 2016. Carol and David also unveiled the final gift set that will conclude the 2015 Model Scene Collection, which will be available to W Club members later in November (more details when available - a photo I saw from an attendee of the slide shown during the presentation showed a lovely doll). The lucky attendees who got picked got the chance to purchase the luncheon centerpiece doll. Then, as the event closed, everyone in attendance received another Poppy Parker doll for free as a thank you gift for attending the luncheon.

Love and Let Love
Poppy Parker™ Dressed Doll (Centerpiece)
Cinematic: The 2015 Integrity Toys Convention Collection
Limited Edition of 450 Dolls

Her hair look like the Camera Loves Her Poppy. Very 60s fashion model, although I can't think of a film featuring this style. I don't like the multicoloured eye shadow.

Paper Doll
Poppy Parker™ Dressed Doll (Giveaway Souvenir)
Cinematic: The 2015 Integrity Toys Convention Collection
Limited Edition of 600 Dolls

This one would look amazing with different colouring. Again too candy coloured for my taste. Love the hairdo.

Integrity Toys convention 2015: Cinematic Part VII: Thursday night gala dolls

Everyone attending was able to finally get together for a delicious meal and see their friends, old and new during Thursday night's gala. Stage hosts Carol Roth and Alain Tremblay offered lucky guests at each table the chance to own the fabulous Adele Makeda centerpiece and then played the stage game with the audience. At the end of the evening, everyone received a Nadja doll from the Nu.Face collection absolutely free, as a souvenir doll.

Time and Again
Adèle Makéda® Dressed Doll (Thursday Dinner Centerpiece)
Cinematic: The 2015 Integrity Toys Convention Collection
Limited Edition of 450 Dolls

I like her a lot - she's probably in my top-5 or 6 dolls from the convention. In real life photos of her from the convention though, the face looks a bit strange. Could be the eyeliner or the eyeshadow. Would not say not if I'd won her. Love the jewellery.

Out of Sight
Nadja R.™ Dressed Doll (Giveaway Souvenir)
Cinematic: The 2015 Integrity Toys Convention Collection
Limited Edition of 600 Dolls

For me this is the best doll of the convention, even though she's one of the simpler dressed ones. What a face! Channelling Grace Jones in James Bond, Nadja rocks with flocked hair like her previous favourite incarnation (Urban Outfitting) and Muse Adele, two of my most favourite dolls. And she should take pride of place next to them, no?

Integrity Toys convention 2015: Cinematic Part VI: The IT Store Direct collection

This year, in addition to the convention collection and the Style Lab collection, convention guests could purchase five new exciting dolls in the IT sales room, through IT Direct.

Item # 91384
Idol Worship Kyori Sato™ Dressed Doll
(Sales Room Exclusive)
Cinematic: The 2015 Integrity Toys Convention Collection
Limited Edition of 600 Dolls

Beautiful and glamorous Kyori doll. She reminds me of Ava Gardner.

Item # 82065
First Blush
Ayumi N.™ Dressed Doll (Sales Room Exclusive)
Cinematic: The 2015 Integrity Toys Convention Collection
Limited Edition of 600 Dolls

Simple and elegant, Ayumi at her most versatile. Was expecting her a bit more oriental and cinematic, with a qipao or something similar though. She has a bag, which is rare for convention dolls.

Item # 82066
Evening Blossom
Dominique Makéda™ Dressed Doll (Sales Room Exclusive)
Cinematic: The 2015 Integrity Toys Convention Collection
Limited Edition of 600 Dolls

Hmmmm... Halle Berry as Catwoman? Wonder what star she is channelling. Beautiful.

Update - Storm and Shawn commented that this is Rihanna inspired. I googled and came up with this:

Pity they couldn't make the exact same hairstyle, it looks fantastic on the singer. Thanks readers!

Traveling Incognito
Poppy Parker™ Dressed Doll (Sales Room Exclusive)
Cinematic: The 2015 Integrity Toys Convention Collection
Limited Edition of 600 Dolls

She could be Ann Margaret. Lovely Poppy, for me the best Poppy of the convention.

Come Live With Me
Nigel North™ Dressed Doll (Sales Room Exclusive)
Cinematic: The 2015 Integrity Toys Convention Collection
Limited Edition of 600 Dolls

Second best guy of the convention for me. What a contrast to his previous incarnation. Brilliant.

Integrity Toys convention 2015: Cinematic Part V: One Of A Kind raffle dolls

A tradition that started a few years back continued again this year, with the introduction of four new OOAK (one of a kind) creations by the IT Design team, which convention guests could enter a raffle to win. There was one doll for each designer of the IT team. In addition to these four ultra rare dolls, convention guests also got to participate for the first time in raffles for chances to win their favourite complete collection of 2015.

OOAK Agnes Von Weiss Doll by IT Designer Vaughn Sawyers
Limited Edition of 1 Doll Only

Pretty in Pink. The cut of the dress reminds me a bit of Pale Fire Vanessa Perrin. Frothy and pink like cotton candy, quite a contrast to the serious looking Agnes. The jewellery is the same as the convention Natalia.

OOAK Vintage Inspired Doll by IT Designer Chris Stoeckel
Limited Edition of 1 Doll Only

Having Chris design for a Color Infusion doll probably seals the deal for Victoir Roux. She was nowhere to be seen in the convention (as well as the 16" girls) so I'm guessing she is not going to be seen again except probably for some special project. This one looks gorgeous, a bit like Betty Grable or any blonde 50s film star.

OOAK Poppy Parker Doll by IT Designer David Buttry
Limited Edition of 1 Doll Only

60s inspired Poppy with a gorgeous necklace. The fabric reminds me a bit of Chip's jacket from last year's Poppy collection.

OOAK Nu. Face Lilith Doll by IT Designer Jessy Ayala
Limited Edition of 1 Doll Only

This is very Atelier Versace Spring Summer 2015.

The styling of the doll is pure Hollywood glamour though, miles away from the modern catwalk styling of Versace.

Integrity Toys convention 2015: Cinematic Part IV: Color Infusion Style Lab Collection

This year's Color Infusion Style Lab at the Cinematic Convention designer Vaughn Sawyers was inspired by old Hollywood and each character offered at the event represents one specific movie star of the golden era of Hollywood. The collection has a new look and new packaging designed to protect the dolls instead of the bags they used to come in. It is composed of 12 dolls and 12 separate outfits. And this year the edition size per style is 600 pieces across the board. This was decided to ensure that each convention guest would get an equal chance to own one of each of these exciting characters, as in previous years there has been a lot of grief from people who were not able to secure their preferred characters and styles (usually Declan).

Monroe Jillian wearing Outfit Golden Moment. Clearly Marilyn Monroe and a combination of two iconic outfits of hers, one gold and one silver, both designed by Travilla.

The doll outfit is actually two separates, a bodysuit and a skirt.

Up next is Jaeme Costas wearing outfit Mine All Mine. I'm guessing 30s and Adrian but the star eludes me. Anyone?

The next doll is Fan Xi wearing outfit Dark Victory. The doll is a Fan Bing Bing clone and the outfit's name is a Bette Davis film title from 1939, with costumes by Orry Kelly, but I do not remember it in the film. The outfit consists again of bodysuit and skirt.

Fabiana Diaz is shown wearing Outfit Shanghai Bound. The original film is from 1927 and the silent era. The very few images that exist on-line are not relevant to the outfit, which looks more 70s inspired.

The next doll is Adaline King wearing the outfit named Passion. This one was easy - Elisabeth Taylor inspired. It is again a two piece ensemble, bodysuit and skirt.

Taylor wore a similar outfit in 1962 to receive her David di Donatello Award for her performance as Catherine in “Suddenly, Last Summer” .

Dree Hill wearing outfit Rebel Desire is a piece of cake to identify if you are a Grease fan like me. It is the outfit Rizzo is wearing during the Summer Nights number. Mattel has done it as an exact copy for their Grease dolls but the pink jacket turned to purple here. The doll though is a dark Marilyn, gorgeous.

Here come the men, always really popular with collectors. First up is Tobias Alsford wearing the outfit Stars In Your Eyes, Tobias could be Sidney Poitier and the outfit's name is actually the title of a 1956 British musical.

Declan Wake is playing Frank Sinatra from 1947, sporting the outfit named Debonair.

Here is Frank wearing this outfit:

Next one is easy too: Elvis Presley. Miles Morgan is shown wearing the Blue Suede Shoes (what else?) outfit.

Sterling Riese in the Natural Talent outfit could be any star of the 20s or 30s Hollywood: Douglas Fairbanks Jr., Errol Flynn, you pick one.

Keiron Morel in his Tropical Sunset outfit looks like Troy Donahue with Frankie Avalon hair.

Donahue in Parrish wearing a similar jacket - in publicity shots of the era he's in a white shirt and beige pants.

Marlon Brando is represented by Callum Windsor wearing the appropriately named outfit Wild One.

Pity he does not have the hat. Here's the original.
