The W Club 2025 registration period has begun! And it celebrates its 20th anniversary!

The W Club registration period for 2025 has just begun - and this year it celebrates its 20th anniversary since it begun back in 2006. I joined in 2007, so my 20th will be next year! If I remember correctly, the first W Club exclusive were Agnes Von Weiss Dressing The Part and Veronique Perrin Stylish Escape. The W Club is the one and only Official Collectors' Club for Integrity Toys, covering all their brands including Poppy Parker, Fashion Royalty, NU. Face, NU. Fantasy, East 59th, The Monarchs: Homme, Meteor, Tulabelle True & Co. and more. Registration is only open once a year, so make sure to register by 9 PM ET on Wednesday, March 19th, if you want to be a part of it. A base membership (one time $50 fee) covers all of these perks and more for the 2025 membership year. You can watch the registration video or contact the club if you have any questions.

In addition to the first-to-know information, members-only forum, online chats, priority customer service and special events, W Club members will receive the following opportunities:

  • Five additional W Club exclusive made-to-order dolls guaranteed throughout the year (we cannot guarantee which lines they will be from or how many from which line, but we are currently expecting that these will come from Poppy Parker, Fashion Royalty, NU. Face and/or NU. Fantasy during 2025).

  • Special pricing for most* IT Direct releases that are also made available to the public.

  • Priority access for online and in-person events, if any**.

*THIS IS FOR MOST, NOT ALL of the items. There may be some items excepted, including but not limited to collaboration projects or sales outside of Integrity’s control, such as through dealers.

**If there are any limited attendance events, priority access does not guarantee every W Club member a spot. Some spots may be held for the public or other purposes. Access to any online events does not guarantee access to event-specific products offered.

More details are available in the FAQs (click here to read). The detail purchasing instructions for buying the membership and the registration dolls are here. The big news were that:

  1. No in-person convention for 2025 but an online one, available to all club members.

  2. A Jason Wu doll for the 20th anniversary of the club (outside the 5 club dolls)

  3. Maybe a small scale event similar to Curated but not confirmed.

  4. A lot of teasing about some out of the box releases.

2025 w club registration exclusive dolls

Lilith, Agnes and Poppy are each $175 above the cost of the $50 base membership. So that is $10.00 more than last year for FR and NU Face and $15.00 more for Poppy Parker. Last year the prices were up to only $5.00 per doll. And with the current tariff situation unfolding, it’s going to get worse. A $30 deposit per doll is payable when registering and the $145 balance is due (plus shipping/fees/taxes) upon shipment, currently expected to be Fall 2025, but may happen earlier or later than projected. Let’s check out the dolls on offer.

The Story:

Lilith knew that her good friend and fellow NU. Face model Giselle’s older sister, the Baroness Agnes von Weiss, was pouring millions of dollars into a new lifestyle venture. Agnes had immensely wealthy backers and a lot of promotional work was to be had for the new “AvW” brand. Always savvy, Lilith positioned herself to be part of the social and print media launches. Agnes thought the idea was brilliant and wanted both Lilith and her twin sister Eden to work in tandem.

Despite prodding from her sister, Eden pushed back. Eden was very loyal to W Cosmetics and the Perrins and thought there might be a conflict in working so closely with Agnes. This was creating some issues between the sisters, which was only heightened when Agnes secured Lilith an invitation to the 20th Anniversary Gala, but not one for Eden.

The night of the event, Agnes picked Lilith up in her chauffeured platinum Bentley, where they discussed some key networking tactics for the event as Lilith primped her look. Lilith went to grab her favorite W Cosmetics lip gloss and stopped herself. The gloss was too good to give up, but Lilith didn't even want to imagine the wrath that would come her way if Agnes saw her use anything with her biggest rival's logo on it. Her contract would surely be torn up on the spot, at a minimum!

Upon arrival at the Gala, Agnes realized they hadn’t received all-access “VIP” level entrance.

Making sure to be indispensable to Agnes, Lilith created a diversion by getting her dress caught in the Bentley’s door, screaming and attracting paparazzi and then turning in the perfect way to model the gown for the photos…

“It’s an AvW original, launching soon” Lilith said to each reporter and photographer who snapped her orchestrated picture, turning “in distress” into “check out this dress!”

Lilith watched Agnes sneak into the VIP lounge and gave a wry smile to the cameras, pleased with her work. Her sister would never…

I admit I was a bit disappointed seeing Lilith as an upgrade doll again. I was expecting either a real surprise like Takeo returning, or at least Dominique or Annik. But I guess IT wants a very surefire doll sculpt to entice more collectors to join, and the Blair twins are very popular. Also, what is it with no dark skinned or Asian dolls (yes I know Rayna is from the Middle East but she is Caucasian-passing) not appearing as upgrades two years in a row? IT is a black owned company that was created to offer a diversity of dolls for a neglected part of the doll market - it does not show here.

Even though this is not a favourite sculpt of mine (and I know I am in the minority here), this particular doll ticks a lot of boxes for me. I like her hairstyle and make up, I like her dress and accessories and the overall look is quite impressive, as a club doll should be. So I might probably end up getting her along with my membership. Her dress reminds me of Laquan Smith dresses like this one.Below is a closer look at her gala related accessories (the story-line continues from the last W Club doll for 2024).

The Story:

The Baroness herself, Agnes Von Weiss, had been plotting her comeback for several years—an eponymous lifestyle brand that ventured into every territory imaginable, including fashion, cosmetics, accessories and other lifestyle wares. She had decided that the Blair twins would be the perfect influencers to help launch the brand across social and print media, and while Lilith Blair had jumped on the opportunity, her sister Eden was being difficult to nail down.

Critical to getting the right press for the launch was appearing at the industry event known to insiders as the “Anniversary Gala”. With it being the 20th anniversary, invitations were more coveted than ever, and Agnes spent hefty sums with PR agents and gift baskets making sure to secure her limited invite. Agnes was thrilled that she was able to secure invitations for her and Lilith, and decided it would be a perfect opportunity for them to both dress in preview pieces from the fashion part of the collection, now going under the “AvW” brand.

In addition to working on her launch, Agnes was also trying to distract her competition. She was sabotaging launch events by stealing booked space, offering a higher price, double-booking noted fashion photgraphers and even catfishing key players at rival brands, including Vanessa Perrin, to whom she had sent everything from love poems in French to bouquets of flowers.

Agnes was very pleased with her work until she and Lilith arrived at the event in her chauffeured Bentley. After emerging from the car to paparazzi clicks, she noticed two lines—one for guests and one for VIPs…

“Lilith, dear, does your invitation say ‘VIP” on it?” Agnes inquired.

Lilith shook her head "no".

“I am going to need you to create a diversion,” Agnes directed.

Lilith got the train of her gown intentionally stuck in the Bentley’s door, calling for help and distracting everyone. This created just the diversion needed for Agnes to slip past security and sneak directly into the VIP champagne tasting area.

While several of the event organizers knew Agnes had not been invited to the champagne lounge, nobody dared approach her, worried that she would cause a commotion.

However, the calm did not last. When Agnes spotted Adèle Makéda in a small group toasting, she sauntered right up to her and tapped her shoulder. Adèle turned around and in shock, dropped her champagne, with the liquid spraying down the front of Agnes’s gown…

Agnes is a fitting 20th anniversary club registration exclusive for FR (see the beginning of this post), but so would have been Veronique, which was the expectation from a large number of collectors. An equally large number were expecting a doll that has a long time to appear for the club, either Natalia or one of the older Homme guys - Pierre, Francisco or even Takeo Mizutani. Nevertheless, here she is in a big Barbie styled and coloured gown that is not very Agnes at all. I understand we already got many mermaid shaped dresses recently, but there are other shapes to an evening dress (and plenty of couture houses to copy, ehm, sorry, reference). The stretchy lace that makes up the finishing of the bustier top and its removable belt do not help the least. Her face is gorgeous, with the Ocean Drive screening (which can be retired now, please) and her luscious hair bring to mind Optic Verve Agnes but also Optic Clash Dania Zarr.

Gardenia _Agnes_Von_Weiss_doll accessories

Her accessories are very nice, the gorgeous retro-styled bag, the rose adorned shoes, the jewellery suite and the gala extras. Although these are a bit lacking compared to Lilith or Adele - one champagne glass only (with two options for its content, tilted and level - the tilt looks hyperbolic in the photos, only close to the mouth the liquid might get this angle) and no cosmetics item - she could have had something from her own new brand to showcase at the event. I am on the verge of ordering her as well but not certain and that says something.

Ever since Ciao Poppy! (a very limited Italian convention release) and even more Pink Lemonade (the most ordered Poppy ever), IT has been trying to recreate the moment and make pink-haired Poppy dolls a regular theme. The obvious Barbie parallels are too much to ignore though and, despite being inspired by one of the extravagant looks of Shirley MacLaine in What A Way To Go, she looks bored and tired. If she had the original look from the film it would have looked so much better - IT needs to secure the license to do the full round of costumes from that film, it is a tour-de-force by Edith Head. The hairstyle couls have either been more like the one Shirley has with the look in the film or at least reference Mayhem In Monte Carlo Poppy. Or make something new and similar to this fantasy hair interpretation. She has a new screening, which David Buttry said was inspired by elements he liked from other Poppy screenings. I am not fond of it in this iteration, will wait to see how it looks in different colours and another doll. The hair is the same as Commanding Attention Poppy. The fabric of the dress has been seen before, in a different colour, on the Scope Out outfit from last year’s convention Style Lab Rayna (no.7). Not crazy about it.

Glamour_Pink_Poppy_Parker_doll accessories

She comes with the flat dog she has been with before, this time in pink, as supposedly the dog is the star who’s attending the premiere of its film. We have seen the stole before but not in this colour and she is lacking the then ubiquitous opera length gloves, which would make the whole look much more 60s adjacent. The rest of the accessories are typical Poppy ones. The dog gets a carry-all bag made of carton, which looks like a milk carton with a flat dog inside.

The Story:

When Poppy Parker was cast to be the face of Internationally-renowned chocolatier "Crusheys", her first assignment was to film a commercial for their special Valentine's Day box of chocolates. While she was thrilled to have that honor, the romantic theme of the commercial and being so far away from home left her feeling lonely... until she saw that none other than Sergio Silva was cast to be her love interest! She was so happy to gaze upon his familiar (and handsome!) face, that she was hours into filming before noticing that Chip had sent a "good luck" gift box to the set filled with all kinds of jewelry, flowers and a note that simply said "Be Mine! Love XOXO, Chip"... -Designed By David Buttry

A great idea: Poppy Parker as a Valentine’s Day gift set! And in a gorgeous box too! She comes with two outfits and many accessories. The doll has the Misty Hollows screening (and hairstyle) and that orange red lipstick looked more pure red on the presentation video. Her first outfit (the dress) again has Misty Hollow vibes/ It reminds me of old 60s dolls and I cannot say I am thrilled with it. Poppy is a high fashion model for me, so these looks do not thrill me at all. Same goes for the more early 70s second look with the polka dot bodysuit, gilet and shorts, combined with those striped socks. I love the heart shaped glasses and bag and the belt/pouch one but that’s it. I did enter the lottery but it was more for the whole package/novelty kind of thing. Did not win and frankly, it was just fine.

The story:

Several years back, Poppy Parker's special guest star appearance on the hit British TV series "Misty Hollows" made such a strong impression that when the network decided to make an American spin-off version of the series set in New Orleans called "Return To Misty Hollows", the name that came to mind to play the lead was of course, none other than Miss Poppy Parker! Her sweet disposition and youthful beauty made her the perfect choice to play the "Is she or isn't she?" vampire-next-door character, a fan favorite of the whole series! - Designed by David Buttry

I know people, particularly newer collectors, love having newer versions of older dolls, but it has started to get repetitive and, frankly, quite boring. If you do not have fresh ideas as a creative, maybe take a break and re-focus. Integrity is inching closer to Mattel territory, and it is not good for anyone, except maybe the owner’s wallet. And that is not a good thing for anyone in the long term. Even if one simply opens a fashion catalogue from the 60s and randomly selects a page, they can find an outfit that has not been done yet for this doll. Not to mention Vogue magazines from the era. So please, rethink this strategy IT.

Having said that, the doll here is wearing a dress inspired by two Oscar De La Renta outfits, from his 1968 Fall collection, here photographed by Irving Penn on Windsor Elliot and Lauren Hutton. for US Vogue’s September 1968 issue.

Somehow it does not look as majestic or romantic in its doll version, as it does in the original one. I think that if we got the second iteration, without the frills, it would have looked much better - but it would not be reminiscent of Misty Hollows. Which connects to my previous comments. The second outfit has a gorgeous blouse but I cannot say I am a fan of the overalls. Maybe she should have had some torreador pants, which would channel the dress embroidery. The boots are great, the bag is generic, nice choker and mirror. I love that the doll is the opposite of the Misty Hollows Poppy in colouring, but I would have preferred her with brown eyes and less garish make up.

Integrity Toys 2024 convention - Stilettos Out day 2: Poppy Parker luncheon

The country that attendees of the 2024 convention found themselves in on the 2nd day, according to the clues given to them, was"Switzerland" (the previous evening they were in Monaco). Participants of the Poppy Parker Luncheon found out that "Bird Of Prey" Poppy Parker, designed by David Buttry, was the event's centerpiece doll. During the event, two additional convention items were revealed for attendees to purchase, the "Drop Dead Gorgeous" Tulabelle True doll and the "Crack The Code" Spy Accessory Pack, also designed by David. Finally, attendees learned about their "Illusive Beauty" Poppy Parker giveaway doll, designed by David Buttry, along with the final accessory set for Donna Drake's "Cryptic Cases" gift set, designed by Alain Tremblay. Next stop was “Morocco” and the Fashion Bazaar, giving everyone a chance to purchase stuff from other attendees and also strut down the runway, showing off their modelling skills.

Beautiful Poppy doll, which compliments nicely the Après-Ski Asset Poppy that was available also for non attendee club members. I am not crazy about how the lower part of the jumpsuit looks, it seems frumpy even on promo photos. The inspiration is from an Yves Saint-Laurent look from his 1968 Spring/Summer collection.

After all the other convention Poppies, she feels a bit like a letdown. She is a bit bland and washed out, closer to Barbie then any Poppy we have seen so far - and what about the Action Accents Barbie set?. The jumpsuit (again!) colours help solidify this a lot. Emma Peel is of course a major inspiration for Poppy, as we have seen lots of times before here and here, with much better results.

Cute Tulabelle but honestly, she looks like a gift wrapped nude doll without the fur jacket lol. We have seen the spiked shoes before, but the bag is the Jewelled Hobo Mini by McQueen.

Integrity Toys 2024 convention - Stilettos Out day 1: The convention collection and welcome doll

This year, Integrity Toys decided that it was about time they returned to an in-person convention, instead of the virtual online events they organized from 2020 onward, because of the pandemic. It sold out as is always the case with the IT events. They did a rehearsal last year with the Curated event (which was sold out as well but it left much to be desired in the organization department). So you can imagine that all club members, even the ones not attending, held their breath waiting for the event to start.

And then the unexpected happened: attendees received an email, about a week from the event, that the dolls for the convention had not arrived and would not be at the hotel, due to a combination of port workers three-day strike, the repeated hurricanes striking US east coast etc. Instead, attendees would have to make do with the prototype dolls on display, a QR code system to place their orders on-site. The dolls would ship to the attendees homes after the event and the company would supply gift cards as credit for the shipping costs. The furore of the club members was such (plus pointing out a clause in the terms and conditions of the convention ticket that specified free shipping in case the dolls were not delivered at the event), that IT had to change course and give real free shipping to all attendees. Of course those attending that come outside the US still have to pay taxes /custom duties when dolls are shipped to them instead of travelling back in their suitcase, and that is quite an extra cost to shoulder. The overall tone of the email did not help, as it was far from apologetic and more like “oops! we had an accident, no biggie”. The fact that the company waits until the very last week before an event to receive their merchandise for it shows poor planning. Even people like me, outside the US, knew about the hurricane season troubles, even the planned port workers strike. Also, since the pandemic, shipping keeps having serious problems with being on time (not that it did not have any before, but…), so it is always prudent to plan ahead of time. Anyway, let’s hope that all this will be seriously addressed at some point in the convention, directly from IT to their loyal, hard cash earned paying customers face to face.

So, on with the show - what is the Stilettos Out story all about? As per the club email:

Many highly sought-after, ultra-rare artefacts have disappeared all over the world and no one, not even the savviest, most fashionable detectives from the the SSB (Secret Style Bureau) and other covert agencies like FPI (Fashion Police International) have been able to figure out how these seemingly disconnected items are related! This year’s convention attendees were invited to participate in this intriguing mystery, tasked to help fictional true crime podcaster/blogger Donna Drake collect clues that will ultimately solve this decades-old cold case!

On the first day of the event, attendees arrived for registration (with early registration taking place on the previous day) and received their welcome bag, which included a mysterious dossier with some clues, and also learned they were getting a Welcome Gift Set, seeing the first part, the "Cryptic Cases" Imogen Lennox as Donna Drake doll, to be completed with more clothes and accessories during the event. The whole thing is part of the clue searching, as she’s the investigating agent all attendees must help uncover the mystery. Below, you can see the Welcome Gift Set doll as well as the Convention Collection dolls, available for attendees at the Souvenir Shop along with the NU. Face Seven Style Lab, which will be in the next article.

Imogen looks beautiful and must have been a welcome surprise to people registering for the convention, as there had been no mention of a welcome doll in the event communication. She does remind me of Be Daring Imogen 2016 club upgrade doll and also the Tropicalia 2012 convention had Imogen as a welcome gift set too! She looks quite basic now, let’s see what else she will acquire during the event to complete her set - and solve the mystery perhaps?

Vanessa looks like an Old Hollywood screen siren here, like Ava Gardner or Jane Russel. Bombshell material! Her screening looks a bit off to me, as if she’s trying to imitate someone else - let’s say Natalia for example. The hairstyle contributes to that feeling as well.Love her opera glasses! The shoes, corsage and stiletto (this style of a dagger makes it a stiletto) could have been part of the Magia 2000 Vanessa, no?

Alejandra is at her most daring here, with shaved brows and a very revealing sexy outfit. Unfortunately she looks like a Cold Carbon pale imitation (pun intended) and also channels a certain singer that I feel disgusted even thinking about, because of his abuse issues. Hard pass.

Cute Poppy but looks like a mash up of previous releases: Take Midas Touch, give her the Lady Luck/Spice screening in matching colours and an outfit reminiscent of Gold Snap, shake well and presto! She looks gorgeous and the photo above kind of gives Diana Ross vibes during her Supremes era.

Poppy Parker plays Leia Organa in Star Wars: The Fashion Movie! Her braided hairstyle, apart from the famous film icon, reminds me of the Tokyo Twilight Poppy. She has the Spicy in Spain screening. Do you remember the Style Lab 2018 convention collection? It was named Miss behave and had a build-a-doll Poppy Parker doll as gift if you had all the collection bought (her pieces were hidden inside the other doll/outfit boxes). Her outfit is very 60s era space age looks, like the ones made by Courrèges and Cardin.

A new version of Tate Tanaka is always good news. When I first saw online photos of this guy from the convention (the prototype doll displayed there), I was instantly smitten. After a while though I noticed two things that made me go hmmm - his bland screening and his huge forehead. When you name a character Raven, you should go that little bit towards the goth connotations, no? Some eyeliner, a stronger brow. The suit is kind of tame, if you take out the boots and leather cummerbund, but I like its texture, like a deconstructed tweed.

A lovely version of Constance, that somehow does not pass muster for a spy, even though she is holding a retro-futuristic gun and a finger cigarette holder. She’s more like a film noir heroine, who just murdered her cheating husband and is waiting for the sleuth protagonist to show up. I love the light blue stones of her jewellery set.

Who is the mysterious character embodied by Elyse? Do not google it, you’re in for a great laugh (or not, depending on your situation). Don;t they google the perspective names of characters before they trademark them? LOL. Anyway, she’s a gorgeous doll, with an amazing gown and quite an original screening for Elyse. it shows what you can do if you step, even just a bit, out of the so-called box. Great work Alain (he designed Imogen too). Having said that, she has very minimal accessories - and why aren’t the shoes photographed with the rest of them? She needed at least a bracelet and a ring.
