Poppy Parker is turning sixteen this year so Integrity Toys organised an in-person event for this important milestone plus one of the five W Club exclusive dolls is the Sweet Sixteen Poppy! It is a gift set celebrating this milestone for Poppy from IT designer designer David Buttry. Each gift set comes with an extra surprise "gift". As for the Sweet Sixteen in-person event, it took place in Orlando, Florida, on the 6th of December. Poppy's party guests were able to stroll down memory lane in the PP “museum” (with dolls from the first release up until now, all from David Buttry’s personal collection), take photos and chat with IT designer David Buttry, dine on a buffet, watch a Poppy presentation, shop for souvenirs, get their swag signed, and cheer to sixteen years at the Mix 'N Mingle. It was a full day filled with fun, food, friendship and festivities all dedicated to Poppy Parker. All three dolls presented there, fashions and swag were designed by David Buttry. Below see all dolls and items related with the event, starting with the W Club exclusive Poppy.

The Story:
Poppy Parker had a blast at her big Sweet Sixteen shindig, but she simply couldn't wait to get home so she could open up all her presents! She decided to start opening the envelopes first and was so happy to receive $16 from her Uncle Bob! There was this adorable dress that she really wanted with a polka dotted skirt layer, but she just wasn't sure which color to get it in. Now, thanks to Uncle Bob's generosity, she could finally buy it! She continued working her way through the envelopes to the smaller boxes and saved the three biggest boxes for last. She opened the first big box from Chip and lo and behold, it was the exact dress she wanted in a beautiful dusty pink color! Poppy thought to herself, "Well, now I don't have to decide which color to get!" Then, she opened the second box from Marianne and couldn't believe her eyes, it was the same exact dress in the perfectly peach color! Poppy felt so relieved she didn't open her gifts at the party, as she never wanted to make anyone feel bad and that would've really been embarrassing. As she opened up the last gift from Darla, her eyes opened wide and she shook her head in disbelief. She got that same dress in the lovely lavender color! Now, she had to decide... which color dress should she keep?

It is so very obvious just by looking at the doll that the inspiration behind her is one of the very first Poppy dolls ever released, Reluctant Debutante Poppy Parker. David confirmed it during the video presentation and talked about how he picked details and colours from that doll to incorporate in this new one, with the screening of Big Eyes Poppy instead of RD, to give a softer look. Which is why I am not that crazy about her. She’s too soft and neutral, with a hairstyle closer to a young Jackie Kennedy (the dress also reminds me of her) than RD. The inclusion of a variant RD dress is nice, although the only colour I like is the violet. It has a lovely box, and the graphics framing the presentation (and obviously the doll box) are gorgeous and very fitting to the theme. We have seen flat dogs for Poppy before, as well as the balloons, so nothing new there. I guess newer collectors will like the chance of getting a doll that hearkens back to the early collections, but for me she’s not that interesting.

Birthday Bouquet
Poppy Parker® Dressed Doll
Poppy Parker® Sweet Sixteen Event
Total Edition Size: 750
Head Sculpt: Poppy
Body Type: PP 1.5
Foot Sculpt: Articulated Ankle
Skin Tone: Sunkissed
Hair Color: Brown
Eyelashes: Yes, Hand-applied
There were three dolls at the in-person event, one was the event doll and two others were available to buy. One of those two is Birthday Bouquet, dressed in fitting colours for her name. The doll kind of reminds me of Sun-kissed in St Barth Poppy in a re-do as a fresh teen instead of a jet-setting grown up lady. On closer look, her eyes look harsh and her lips way over-painted. The top of the dress and the coat are great, but the bottom of the dress is too puffed out for my liking. Basic accessories - at least the bag looks nice.

Sprinkles
Poppy Parker® Dressed Doll
Poppy Parker® Sweet Sixteen Event
Total Edition Size: 750
Head Sculpt: Poppy
Body Type: PP 1.5
Foot Sculpt: Articulated Ankle
Skin Tone: FR Black
Hair Color: Black
Eyelashes: Yes, Hand-applied
Sprinkles (see her collar to understand where she gets the name) looks amazing. She has the Hold That Tiger screening, which is great, and wears a nice “Chanel” suit to offset her looks. She has a pink bodysuit under that suit. Great hair, minimal accessories. She’s the winner of this collection.
Item # 77276
Cupcake
Poppy Parker® Dressed Doll
Poppy Parker® Sweet Sixteen Event Exclusive Giveaway Doll
Total Edition Size: 750
Head Sculpt: Poppy
Body Type: PP 1.5
Foot Sculpt: High-heeled
Skin Tone: Japan
Hair Color: Platinum Blonde
Eyelashes: Yes, Hand-applied
Cupcakes is the event doll for attendees. I read that at the end of the event, it was announced that people could buy a second doll of each, but the quantities available for that were so low, bloodbath ensued. Cupcakes looks like a cross between Sugar and So Curious Poppy. Shes too pink for my taste and surely gives Margot Robbie as Barbie vibes. She’s the only high-heeled doll of this collection. I love the shape of the dress - it looks really well made. Again, basic accessories.

Party Streamers Fashion Only
Poppy Parker® Sweet Sixteen Event
Total Edition Size: 500
Fashion only, no dolls included. Doll modelling the fashion is the Sweet Sixteen exclusive "Sprinkles" Poppy Parker; the doll is sold separately. This fashion is designed to fit Poppy Parker brand and similar 12-inch/1:6 scale fashion dolls
Cute fashion, with a Pucci style print, that would fit in very well with the Palm Springs collection. I would have loved it if it included pants or the top was longer at the back and it was worn over a maxi skirt. Sprinkles looks divine in it. Love the box it comes in.
Item # 77281
Petunia Parker Large Plush Dog
Poppy Parker® Sweet Sixteen Event
Total Edition Size: 400
This is a full-sized, not doll-sized plush dog.

Poppy Parker Doll Carry Trunk
Poppy Parker® Sweet Sixteen Event
Total Edition Size: 400
This doll carry trunk is designed to fit Poppy Parker brand and similar 12-inch/1:6 scale fashion dolls
This looks exactly like the Fashion Royalty carry-on case available at the 2005 Royaltini convention. That was chocolate brown with a turquoise blue interior. Looks lovely and I like the texture shown - is it fabric? Would love to have one.
ADDITIONAL POPPY PARKER SWAG
The following items were also available for attendees to purchase at the event.
POPPY PARKER T-SHIRTS
There were unisex Poppy Parker t-shirts available for attendees and two of the designs are available for pre-order for W Club members as well. The total price per t-shirt for W Club members that did not attend the in-person event is $25 + shipping and handling. A $17.50 deposit is required at this time to reserve the shirt(s), and a balance of $7.50 + S&H will be due in approximately January 2026 once the t-shirts are in-stock. Note that a Sweet Sixteen T-shirt design was exclusive to attendees only. I love the mod one, it shows one of my favourite Poppy dolls ever, might pre-order it.
