Integrity Toys Gloss Convention 2014: part IV - Poppy Parker luncheon

The Poppy Parker luncheon was held on Friday noon and in it the attendees got to see two new dolls - the centerpiece and the giveaway. Since it was still before the arrival of the container that was held in customs, the giveaway Poppy was only shown on a slide and was given to the happy owners next day.

Item # PP076
Angel in Blue
Poppy Parker™ Dressed Doll
Official Convention Centerpiece Doll
Limited Edition 300 Dolls

Very seventies disco glam babe vibe. Not my cup of tea for Poppy (Adele or Ayumi would totally rock this in different, darker colours) but it works. Her make up is gorgeous and should work well with other evening outfits.

Item # PP077
Starlight
Poppy Parker™ Dressed Doll
Official Convention Giveaway Doll
Limited Edition of 500 Dolls

This is a moment where the giveaway is better than the centerpiece! Perfect Poppy doll here, from the hair and make up to the outfit.

The rest of the Poppy Parker dolls presented in the convention will be covered in another post.

Integrity Toys Gloss Convention 2014: part III - Saturday gala and Convention doll

Friday night had a Halloween themed party, so every attendee got to dress up with their costumes. They also got a nice Fashion Royalty outfit as a gift. The final event on Saturday night was the convention gala. It was highly anticipated, not only as the culmination of the whole convention but as the moment when the convention doll would be revealed. There was also a centerpiece doll. Let's check them out.

Friday Night Party Giveaway
Item # 91364
Illustrious Luxury Wear Costume (Outfit only)
Official Convention Souvenir
Limited Edition of 500 Outfits
Note: Prototype doll below is not included; it's for displaying the outfit only.

In theme with the disco style that we saw in the convention collection (which will be presented in another post), it reminds me a lot of the Vanessa centerpiece purple outfit.

Saturday Evening Gala Event dolls
Both dolls below are wearing outfits based on looks from Jason Wu's real Spring 2014 Collection (just like last year with Vanessa and Elise). Each outfit is posted after the doll.

Item # 91362
Intrigue
Elise Jolie™ Dressed Doll
Official Table Centerpiece
Limited Edition of 300 Dolls

This is a gorgeous Elise - I wish she was part of the normal collection instead of convention! Gorgeous doll and amazing, sharp outfit. You cannot see it but she has a fantastic clasp on her low ponytail. Simply brilliant. The best doll in the whole convention for me.

The Jason Wu real outfit that Elise's was based on is below:

Item # 91363
Intimate Reveal
Agnes Von Weiss™ Dressed Doll
Official Convention Souvenir Doll
Limited Edition of 500 Dolls

Since she had not appeared in any guise during the previous days, it was rightly assumed that Agnes would be making an appearance as the convention doll. She looks like a cross between Silver Zinger and High Gloss. Gorgeous doll but not as perfect as Elise.

Her gown is shown below in its real life version, on the Spring/Summer Jason Wu catwalk.

Integrity Toys Gloss Convention 2014: part II - Nu Face reveal

As Integrity Toys had announced earlier in the year, the new NuFace body would be revealed in the convention W Club Luncheon - and so it was. The new body is a slimmer version of the new Fashion Royalty body: it has a smaller bust, slightly slimmer waist and a perkier bum, as Integrity Toys' senior designer, the talented Vaughn Sawyers said during the event, talking about the line to attendees. Let's see what dolls were presented.

Item # 82055
Sensuous Affair
Giselle Diefendorf™Dressed Doll
W Club Luncheon Exclusive Centerpiece Doll
Limited Edition of 400 Dolls

Giselle was the centerpiece doll for the luncheon and so she was the first one shown to the participants. The outfit was based on something Vaughn and Jessy Ayala saw somewhere, Jessy sketched a version and Jason Wu had it tweaked to fit his vision and style. She looks gorgeous.

Item # 82056
Chrome Noir
Erin Salston™ Dressed Doll
W Club Luncheon Exclusive Giveaway Doll
Limited Edition of 400 Dolls

The giveaway doll for everyone attending was Erin. She has the 2.0 version of Erin sculpt, again wearing shorts but this time in sequins and a halter neck, very 70s disco babe. Halter necks are back in fashion for real people too. She has a heavy, smoky eye/dark lips make up which fits the era and is also very current. Beautiful.

Item # 82057
Tantalizing
Dominique Makeda™ Dressed Doll
Official Workshop Doll
Limited Edition of 300 Dolls

Dominique is now moved to the NuFace girls team. This was the doll for Uriah's 3D printing workshop, so you had to enroll there (if you did not, you missed on some great goodies) to get her. She looks very disco glam. I love her hair colour.

Item # 82058
Evening Siren
Ayumi N.™ Dressed Doll
IT Direct Store Exclusive
Limited Edition of 600 Dolls

Ayumi now has a new face (again), so this is version 3.0 of this character. Her 1.0 face has appeared in the Poppy Parker line this year so we are now missing the beautiful version 2.0 - hope it appears somewhere. She looks more Asian now than before, a bit like a younger version of the old Kyori sculpt. The doll was available to purchase during the final dinner of the convention. The outfit is navy  blue embroidered lace. Fantastic doll.

Integrity Toys Gloss Convention 2014: part I

The annual Integrity Toys convention started last Thursday in Orlando, Florida (Wednesday, if you were an early regisration attendee). This year it is titled Gloss: the dolls that one can see from photos of the attendees in social media and Flickr are in theme and are already making the rounds. So let's see the first official photos of some dolls.

Item # 15057 + 15058
Official Welcome Bag Doll and Companion Accessory Kit
The 2014 Integrity Toys Convention: Gloss
Limited Edition of 500 Dolls and 500 Accessory Packs

As has happened in previous conventions, this year's registration kit was composed of many goodies, which included a special pair of shoes from Azone, a reusable Integrity Toys water bottle and of course a doll. This one is the old Erin sculpt as an ITBE doll, using the old NuFace body. The set also got an extra accessory pack during the Thursday evening welcome dinner. Very 70s style, as are most of the convention dolls so far. The film American Hustle seems to be a strong influence.

Item # 91360
Sheer Sensuality
Vanessa Perrin™ Dressed Doll
The 2014 Integrity Toys Convention: Gloss Official Table Centerpiece
Limited Edition of 350 Dolls

This is the centerpiece doll from the welcome dinner on Thursday night. She has the original sculpt of Vanessa and a very early 70s dress. One of the best dolls from what I have seen on line so far.

Item # 91361
Le Smoking
Adèle Makéda® Dressed Doll
The 2014 Integrity Toys Convention: Gloss Official Souvenir
Limited Edition of 500 Dolls

This is the gift doll that each attendee of the dinner gets. Using the Adele 2.0 sculpt and wearing a great smoking suit and boa, with gold shoes. Very 70s Bianca Jagger look. The best doll of the convention so far and the only one I'd love to own. She has not been given to attendees yet as many dolls have not arrived at Orlando due to being held by customs.

Eugenia Perrin Frost City Prowl

The Urban Safari Fashion Royalty collection this year was quite a success - the dolls look great in real life too, with gorgeous outfits that mix and match and also lovely accessories to boot. The coherent look of the collection (with one or two exceptions) makes for a great showing. City Prowl Eugenia certainly fits the bill. And I also think she is one of the most beautiful Eugenias released so far.

Continuing the theme from my previous photo shoot, I wanted to photograph her with a luggage set. This time it is the Deluxe Voyager set from the FR: Voyages Black Lacquer collection back in 2004 (Edition size:1000). The black and red colouring certainly fits Eugenia's outfit. She's ready for the Gloss Integrity Toys convention that will be held this week in Orlando, FL. We will have updates from the new releases as they become available.

Ms Perrin - Frost's ensemble consists of a leopard print seer shirt, leather corset and muslin pencil skirt. The accessories include black "patent leather" ankle boots with two ties each (as if I could handle one with my big fingers!), small earrings (very similar to the ones Purity Dasha is wearing) and three bangles. A small rectangular faux croc clutch finishes off the look. All items are very detailed and well made. The choice of fabric for the skirt is a bit weird though.

Her hair is cascading into waves with a side part, very similar to the hairdo of Splendid Jordan from last year, only stiffer). Her make up is edgy and sexy, dark eyes and pale lips, which is always a winner with Eugenia and fits the outfit and theme well. Another winner.

You may have noticed the logo on the photos, it's the new logo for the blog (one of its versions at least) and will be featured in the photos from now on as a way to avoid them being used elsewhere without my permission.

The corset feature hooks for closing at the back (while it has a faux tie closure at the front). I'd rather have a small zip here than this. The belt is a nice touch with the intricate fastening but I am afraid to undo it as I probably will not be able to replicate it again.

A closer look at the shoes. The two ties were quite the trouble for me: my big fingers cannot handle them, plus they always look out of scale.
