You probably remember the previous two-doll gift set for Pride Month, Love Is Love, with Cabot and Milo (sculpts and bodies are seemingly from TRUE/Industry lines). As much as I love the idea of having a lesbian couple officially released by IT to honour Pride Month, this set looks luckluster and too tame, especially compared with the Love Is Love set years ago. And as we are talking about fashion dolls, I would have loved them to be more in tune with current fashion and style. There are some beautiful items among the clothing and accessories (e.g. the bags), but it is not my cup of tea at all. The dolls do look beautiful though and that is a major plus. Ellery’s sculpt was never a favourite but she looks lovely here. Reese seems to use the former Dree Hill sculpt from Color Infusion (without painted teeth). Also, we did not get a video presentation for this one, which is a bummer. I would have liked to listen to the two designers explain the concept and their inspiration in detail.

One of IT doll collectors, who does excellent doll photography, Rick Garza, made a mock up of how he would have liked to see this couple and I would have pre-ordered this in a heart beat.
