Another collaboration with a drag queen! And they’re a doll! Shea Couleé is a great choice for this kind of project, not only because they are very fashion oriented (among all the other stuff) but they are also a fashion doll collector and a W Club member! In the doll reveal, they mentioned that their grandmother was a baby doll collector and seamstress, so she taught Shea to sew doll clothes. They also played with their older sisters’ fashion dolls, as their parents did not allow them to have their own - such a familiar story for many doll collectors unfortunately. The look is based on their first appearance on RuPaul’s Drag Race season 9. I love the look, even though it reminds me. especially colourwise, so much of Janay’s look in the Industry 2018 Lovesick collection. I love the printed dress, the fluffy coat, the metallic boots and their overall style! Accessories are lovely, with her faux Gucci necklace, orange compact, lipstick etc. Plus she has her little miniature Pomeranian dog, Baby Couleé and its custom carrying case too. The dog looks a bit weird, especially compared to the real one side by side as seen in the photo at the top of the article. Love the custom stand base too. Will definitely get this doll.
