The 2024 W Club registration period has opened - with three upgrade dolls!

The W Club 2024 registration window has opened and you have until March 18th to enter. What is the W Club you say? Have you not been reading this website at all? The W Club is the one and only Official Collectors' Club for Integrity Toys, covering all their brands including Poppy Parker, Fashion Royalty, NU. Face, NU. Fantasy, East 59th, The Monarchs: Homme, Meteor, Tulabelle True & Co. and more. I have been a member for many years - definitely since 2008 or maybe 2007. And it is worth it just for the advance info alone, so that one gets to order IT releases in retail/club prices instead of paying at least double that. And remember that registration is only open once a year, so make sure to register by 9 PM ET on Monday, March 18th. I love Dania with short hair - it gives her a very current Linda Evangelista feel (even though to me Eugenia will always be Linda in Fashion Royalty dolls). She looks stunning (Mothership screening) and rekindled my interest in getting an upgrade doll again, after last year’s none. Should we worry that the prototype has a badly drawn eyeliner or will it be fixed for production? She does give the intended Audrey Hepburn impression, as Jessy said in the video presentation, especially from her early days in Roman Holiday (Jessy talked about Sabrina and the b&w gown but they showed a background photo of a moped). I love the texture in the dress fabric. And what fabulous accessories! The bag is in the style of the Cannolo bag by Jill Sander (thanks to goddess Nevraforever for the help in identifying this!) I must say that this year’s prices are $5.00 up from last year’s (which was the same as the year before). Not much, but not nothing either. And it surely preambles an increase in general pricing going forward.

She’s a lovely doll, I’ll give her that. She even reminds me of model Bella Hadid. But, I already own Natural Wonder Rayna and Wild Feeling Rayna, both more fierce and stylish and powerful. She pales in comparison to them. If you do not own any of those two though, she’s a perfect buy. And very versatile. Her colouring owes a lot to Going Public Eugenia but adjusted for Rayna. Love the accessories (Valentino inspiration bag and earrings), could not care less about the outfit (is it Versace?). Pass, even though I’d love to have the accessories.

The Story: When Poppy Parker was initially cast in her historic role in "Undercover Angel", the producers were left asking who else they could cast that had the charm, beauty and talent to match Poppy Parker without getting overshadowed? The only answer they kept landing on was... nobody! Thus, everyone's favorite teenage model turned TV superstar got the groundbreaking opportunity to play opposite of herself as "Angel Eyes"!

And there she is: the second Charlie’s Angels inspired doll (after Undercover Angel Poppy channeling Farrah Fawcett), Jaclyn Smith lookalike Poppy! Many had asked for more dolls inspired from the legendary 70s TV series and it seems David Buttry is giving them to us! She does not have a second outfit as the first one did (upgrade dolls come with one set of clothes) and they did show a sneak peek of a 70s style outfit that fits her and will be available later in the year to W Club members (see the video, link further up), but the first doll with two outfits was only $15.00 more and it really feels disappointing. I will be getting this one cause I love my Angels (and her name is Angel Eyes which also is a favourite Olivia Newton-John song), but the whole situation makes getting her not feel that satisfying.

The 2023 W Club registration period is open!

It is the end of February and that can only mean one thing: the 2023 W Club registration is open! If you want to be a member of the W Club, make sure to register by 9 PM ET on Tuesday, March 21st. Go here if you are anxious to do so and come back to read what I think about the dolls below. You can register for as many memberships as you want and pre-order 1, 2 or all 3 of the upgrade dolls per membership for an additional fee before the deadline passes. In addition to the first-to-know information, members-only forum, online chats, priority customer service and special events, W Club members will receive the following opportunities:

1. So this year Integrity Toys will have an in-person event again. In the presentation they mentioned it will be small and held in the Washington D.C. area sometime this summer. One of the event dolls, in a colour variation, will be available for all W Club members, attending or not. I’m guessing a 100-person luncheon with two or three dolls available to attendees. Upgrades have the same price as last year, so I am guessing the same happen for the dolls released in 2023.

It was a major surprise to almost everyone, myself included, when we discovered that all three upgrade dolls were colour variations of previously released dolls. Jessy mentioned that he wanted to revisit dolls from the past that had their moment in a particular release, and offer them in different colours. This will appear again in 2023, not as a coherent collection, but as releases spread throughout the year. While the idea is certainly appealing when the dolls are grails that are beyond what most people can now afford to buy, the whole concept looks lazy and uninspired. If, as they have done in the past, they re-interpreted older dolls in a fresh and inspiring way, I am guessing it would have gone down much better. And if this is a way for the company to save money, it could certainly have been better handled. Alejandra has been whitewashed completely here - while her previous two versions were darker, this one is FR white. I still think the original is better looking but I am happy that people who could not get her then, as she was a dealer exclusive, have their chance now. One other thing: when a character is only on its third ever release, it sucks a bit to get a repeat. They should have kept Alejandra for one of the five club exclusives and have another NU Face, like Erin, as the upgrade.

The Story: Collector-favorite Eugenia is invoking all the beauty of a Summer Rose in this gorgeous twist on "English Rose" from the 2019 Integrity Toys Live From Fashion Week Convention!

Eugenia is a character we often get as an upgrade - Le Tuxedo in 2020, Modernist in 2018, plus Reigning Grace as the Cinematic convention upgrade in 2015. This one is a colour variation of a convention doll, English Rose from the 2019 Live From Fashion Week event. The OG doll was dressed in pale pastels, with dark hair (reminding me of Vivacité Eugenia) and her bag was embroidered instead of textured. The fabric of the original blouse looked like crepe and her barrette had a short tulle veil. She reminds me both of Tuxedo and Going Public (just a bit), and also of Secret Garden a bit, if she went darker. Good for those that missed one of the aforementioned dolls in the first place. I do not like the skirt print, it looks dated and not what one of the Perrins would wear going out.

The Story: When Poppy walked by the window of her favorite boutique, Lemieux, and saw her prized "Powder Puff" peignoir set in a dreamy yellow color, she just couldn't pass it up! And of course, her teddy bear, Plato Parker, had to come along, too!

The original Powder Puff Poppy was released as a lottery doll in the 2016 BonBon collection, which makes this the variant with the oldest connection - albeit of a quite near past. And she is actually the third colour variant, as there was a pink one as the giveaway in the 2019 Poppy Parker event, which had two colour variant Poppy dolls. Unlike the baby blue OG, the teddy bears of both later variants are white, with the latest one smiling ominously. The actual doll is the best of the three, in her dark skin tone, but she reminds me too much of both Milan Poppy and Resort Ready to entice me. Something tells me that I am going to buy less IT dolls this year, if this trend continuous - last year was the first ever that I pre-ordered only one of the five exclusives. Again, while these three are all beautiful dolls, they don’t entice me, as an older collector, to upgrade my club membership. On the other hand, I am glad that many people are getting variations of grails they cannot afford otherwise. And that can only be a good thing.

W Club 2021 registration period is open NOW and until March 8th!

It’s the W Club registration period! From today and until the 8th of March 2021, you can register for membership (one or many) of the W Club and join in! If you read the blog regularly, you already have a good idea of the variety of offerings and privileges that the Club confers to members. This year again the basic fee is $50.00, which is very good, especially considering that half of it is reimbursed as a coupon that can be applied towards any purchase from Integrity Toys from $99.00 upwards. I have been a member for over a decade now and it really is worth it even if you only collect one of the lines that Integrity Toys releases - you get the release information first, you get exclusive dolls, many made to order for the club members and lotteries only available to them. This, along with a relationship with a dealer that you must cultivate (I know it is difficult for new collectors but it is a must), will help you get the dolls you want in retail prices. And, if that does not work (we do not get the dolls we want always as the quantities are finite), there is always the W Club forum which is a great way to meet other club members, get help from more experienced collectors and find opportunities to purchase dolls from members in prices much lower than ebay).

What a gorgeous Nadja! She brings to mind a reworked London Show and this will be one of the reasons she will be popular with collectors. Another will be the lovely Alaia Tati Collection inspired outfit and accessories. Elyse is back after a hiatus that lasted all of 2020 - and as an upgrade doll, which is a first for this character, as for Nadja. The skin tone used is a first for Elyse too, she has never been released as an A-tone doll. Jessy said she is an homage to the famous supermodel Iman. She does remind me a bit of her, but her features are quite different. Previous dark skinned Elyse dolls were the second Net-A-Porter 10th Anniversary Jason Wu doll, Seduisante and Luminous, but this one has the darkest skin tone of all. The outfit has been hard to pin down regarding inspiration - many people were reminded of the Fall 2020 Oscar De La Renta collection but there is no dress there that matches Elyse’s. This Poppy, apart from being an upgrade doll, is the first to be released from this year’s Palm Springs Poppy collection. She has the same screening as the Heads Up yellow haired Poppy from the 2019 convention Style Lab. She is the second Poppy with pink hair, after Ciao! Poppy, but this one has a lighter shade of pink. Many people commented that they did not have pastel coloured hair in the sixties - which is completely wrong! You can check some examples here, here and here - or just google it! She gives me Kim Novak vibes - but in an innocent, fluffy way, in contrast with the dark, ominous style of the famous actress. Even though I am still thinking about getting her or not, I most probably will.

How do I become part of the W Club?

From now until March 8th, 2021 you can qualify for the 2021 W Club by submitting a registration form and completing your payment. You can start your registration by clicking the “Agree/Join” button at the top or bottom of this page. No registrations will be accepted after March 8th, 2021 at 5 PM Eastern time (New York time). No exceptions.

For how long is my 2021 W Club membership valid?

Memberships are valid until the latter of January 1, 2022 or when the 2022 W Club membership registration period begins.

As a member, will I be guaranteed every exclusive item from the W Club?

Every member in good standing will be guaranteed the right to purchase at least 5 exclusive dolls, which will be offered at various times throughout the Club year, including the 2 Fashion Royalty / NU. Face exclusive dolls, 2 exclusive Poppy Parker dolls, and 1 additional exclusive doll during 2021.

Members that added upgrade dolls during registration are guaranteed those upgrade doll(s), as well. There will be other limited items which will be available by lottery or first-come, first-served opportunities. Please note that membership in the W Club does not guarantee access to Integrity Toys’ non-Club exclusive dolls and accessories. How many 2021 Club memberships can I purchase?

The club is not restricting the number of memberships by collector or household. However, memberships are non-transferable and cannot be shared.

I live outside of the US. May I still become a member?

Absolutely! Membership is available to residents of all countries worldwide. Please note that all news releases and information will be released in English only.

I would like the W Club information sent to me via regular mail; can the club do that?

This is an online only Club and all members must have access to a valid email address.

What forms of payment does the club accept?

All payments are processed through Integrity Toys’ online shopping cart system. They accept Credit Cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover). They also accept PayPal. If you don’t have a PayPal account or a credit card, you might want to get a prepaid credit card, as it makes it easier for you to take advantage of their many offers.

Can you tell me more about the purchasing of exclusive W Club dolls?

2021 W Club members are guaranteed the right to purchase the exclusive W Club doll(s) from 2021 only (these dolls are separate from and in addition to the 3 upgrade dolls that you can purchase at registration). The number of W Club exclusive doll(s) produced is based on the number of pre-orders paid. Can you explain more about the W Club coupon?

A 1.0 Vanessa doll is always good news - and in a tan skin-tone, now named “sun-kissed”, even better. Why do we get all that tan variables is beyond me - it definitely has to do with the haphazard way they make the skin tones in the Chinese doll factory IT uses, without a proper recipe with colour percentages, just mixing colours trying to match the shade. Not very good for replacement bodies in the future - just try to find a tan homme body and tell me about it. The screening screams Going Public Eugenia - in fact, when I first saw the first photo of the email, I thought she was Eugenia, not Vanessa. Beautiful accessories but I am not that crazy about the fashion. Jesse Ayala designed this one.

First of all, dear Integrity Toys, please stop calling male dolls “figures”. They are DOLLS. Even the G.I. Joe figures are actual dolls that are named figures to placate parents buying them for their little boys. This is so backwards thinking, especially in this day and age. So please stop it. It does not fit with what Integrity Toys represents as a doll company.

Lukas is his usual gorgeous self but looks uncomfortably a lot like his first apperance, Raw Appeal, from the 2009 convention, minus the eyeliner. The outfit is not that impressive either. Compare it with Bellamy Blue from last year’s Industry collection and you can see why. Those convertible pants have got to stop - the Violaine ones were more than enough. So last year. Jesse, I was expecting so much more from this one.

David Buttry designed this one within the concept of this year’s Poppy spy theme, which story is taking place in Brazil. I love the print but not much more from this one. If you described her to me without any photos, I would have said “what a lovely doll”, but the execution seems slightly off to me.

Her fashionable ensemble was designed by Jessy Ayala. Eugenia Perrin-Frost is a 12.5-inch articulated vinyl doll with fully rooted hair and hand-applied eyelashes. Her ensemble is composed of a pale blue one-piece dress, accessorized with sky-high metallic blue high-heeled boots, a matching purse, jewelry and sunglasses. 2017 W Club members finally get to see the result of their vote from last year. The doll Is beautiful and elegant, with the right amount of fashion bling to make her a standout. The dress is simple but with an intricate detail at the front. Her accessories are perfect, even though I’d prefer the boots with closed toes. The make up has Going Public vibes (the mouth and general design) combined with Tricks Of The Trade or Spring Forward (eyeshadow) - EDIT: She has the Spectacular screening in different colours. She’s not the smash Vanessa Perrin was when she got the dark skin treatment (Second Skin) but she’s fab. I’m getting her with my membership.

In 2018, Poppy Parker revisits some of the best looks that she’s worn in her modelling career so far, with a twist. The W Club introduces the first entry in the “City Sweetheart” Collection, as designed by David Buttry. Poppy Parker is a 12-inch fully articulated fashion doll with fully rooted hair and handapplied eyelashes. Dressed for a sunny summer day in New York city, Poppy looks as sweet as ever in her delightful, high-color day dress! She comes complete with a purse, jewelry, shoes, bright pink and bejeweled cat-eye glasses and a bottle of her favorite orange flavored soda pop. Doll stand and certificate of authenticity included. For adult collectors ages 15 and up.

I’m not crazy about this year’s upgrade Poppy. The eyes look weird (She has the Reluctant Debutante screening but with applied eyelashes), the hair is blonde (I have too many blonde Poppies), the lipstick too light pink and the dress looks like a variation of the one She’s Arrived had. She has the new high-heeled feet. I love the shoes and the bow details on her bag and bracelet. Easy pass for me.

Rayna Ahmadi, the 2018 NU. Face upgrade doll option, marks the debut of the new 2018 collection, as designed by the talented Jessy Ayala of Integrity Toys. Rayna Ahmadi is a 12.5-inch articulated vinyl doll featuring fully rooted hair and handapplied eyelashes. Rayna wears a one-piece denim overall jumpsuit and completes her look with an oversized jewellery set, a colourful bandana, matching denim open-toed high-heels and a unique ice-cream cone shaped purse. Doll stand and certificate of authenticity included. For adult collectors ages 15 and up.

This is an amazing Rayna, one of the best ever released. Her face and make up look great, using pink in the right way. She reminds me of the IFDC Rock Me Baby Rayna but enhanced with warm vibrant pink. Her outfit looks amazing - I’m a sucker for late 70s styled jeans. It would have looked even better in a dark blue denim though. Her shoes are awesome, her bag weird and the jewellery good. She’s coming home too.

• So, how do you become part of the W Club?

From now until February 27th, 2018, you can qualify for the 2018 W Club by submitting a
registration form and completing your payment. You can start your registration here:

No registrations will be accepted after February 27th, 2018 at 9:00 PM Eastern Time (New
York time). No exceptions.

• For how long is your 2018 Club membership valid?

Memberships are valid until the latter of January 1, 2019 or when the 2019 Club membership
registration period begins.

• As a member, will you be guaranteed every exclusive item from the Club?

Every member in good standing will be guaranteed the right to purchase at least 5 exclusive dolls, which will be offered at various times throughout the Club year, including the 2 Fashion Royalty exclusive dolls (which may include NU. Face), 2 exclusive Poppy Parker dolls, and 1 additional exclusive doll during 2018. Members that added upgrade dolls during registration are guaranteed those upgrade doll(s), as well. There will be other limited items which will be available by lottery or first-come, first-served opportunities. Please note that membership in the W Club does not guarantee access to Integrity Toys’ non-Club exclusive dolls and accessories. None of the dolls available through the Integrity Toys’ authorised dealers can be purchased through the W Club and are not W Club exclusive items.

• How many 2018 Club memberships can you purchase?

The number of memberships by collector or household is not restricted. However, memberships are non-transferable and cannot be shared.

• You live outside of the US. May you still become a member?

Yes. Membership is available to residents of all countries worldwide. Please note that all
news releases and information will be released in English only.

• You would like the Club information sent to you via regular mail; can it be done?

This is an online only Club and all members must have access to a valid email address.

• What forms of payment are accepted?

All payments are processed through Integrity Toys’ online shopping cart system. They accept
Credit Cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover) and PayPal. If you
don’t have a PayPal account or a credit card, you could get a prepaid credit card, as it
makes it easier for you to take advantage of the many offers.

• How about more information about the purchasing of exclusive W Club dolls?

2018 W Club members are guaranteed the right to purchase the exclusive W Club doll(s) from 2018 only (these dolls are separate from and in addition to the upgrade dolls that you can purchase at registration). The number of W Club exclusive doll(s) produced is based on the number of pre-orders paid. If you do not pre-order the Club doll(s) by the designated cut-off date (there is usually about a week-long ordering window), you forfeit your right to purchase that Club doll through the W Club. Also, Club doll(s) from previous years are NOT available to 2018 members- Club dolls are only available during that specific membership year.

• How about more information about the Club coupon?

Each W Club membership that you purchase will automatically add a special $25 coupon to your IT Direct Coupon Wallet that can be used towards ANY IT Direct shopping cart purchase of $99 or more online only during the 2018 W Club year. As long as your order is above $99 before shipping and tax, you can apply your coupon towards any order of your choice. Full details and instructions for the $25 coupon will be sent to 2018 W Club Members at a later date, including that a one coupon limit will be allowed per order.
Important exclusion: Coupons cannot be used to purchase additional memberships.
Any memberships bought with coupons will be voided, as the 2018 Club year does not
officially begin until after registration ends.

• When will you be able to log into the W Club forum?

Once your membership has been processed, you will be emailed the “Welcome to the 2018
W Club” notice. This notice includes information on how to register and be approved for the
members-only forum, contact emails, email information and more. Due to the number of
registrations that are expected to be received at this time, it can take up to a week or more for the welcome notice to be sent out and you should be patient until you are sent the notice.
