The NU. Face AudioVisual Collection is unveiled!

Almost a week after the first doll reveal of 2025, we finally got the NU Face capsule collection we had been waiting for quite some time now. Unveiled during a live presentation, three brand new NU .Face dolls form the AudioVisual capsule collection, created by Integrity Toys designer Jessy Ayala. Two dolls are dealer dolls and one is for the W Club as a lottery. We get a new character (not sculpt) plus a new sculpt for the Asian twins Kumi and Yuri. Remember that these NU Fantasy twins had the same sculpt as the Blair twins, Eden and Lilith. Now they get their own distinct sculpt and enter the world of NU Face proper, as per the storyline released:

First of all the new character: using Ayumi’s 3.0 sculpt, she is a digital influencer avatar, much like many who populate social media these days. The doll looks amazing in her violet ensemble, with the tailored long coat and fancy separates, complimented by awesome accessories like those amazing boots, the quirky bag, jewellery, a mobile phone and headphones! She comes with an extra pair of flat feet legs. I think Jesse missed an opportunity here to have a more out-there make up look, since this is supposed to be a digital avatar, but she’s still beautiful. The boots are from Givenchy (the Shark Lock boots, unfortunately without a lock). The skirt and bag seem to be from Gaultier but not absolutely certain.

I must say I love the new sculpt much better than the Eden/Lilith one! The old one is very bland, almost boring, while this one looks incredible and fresh. Jesse also said that the head was made smaller than previous dolls, in order to show better with the tall, lean NU Face body. This doll looks like she jumped out of a Jean Paul Gaultier fragrance commercial, with her navy-inspired look - and you can see that sailor boy hat in the S/S 2024 Couture collection by Simon Rocha. She looks like she’s missing a jacket or coat (and for her price, it should have been included). Love her boots (to be worn with flat feet) and she has a microphone! Extra high heeled leg pair included as well. Glad I was confirmed by my dealer, it seems she sold out really fast.

The “evil” twin is the lottery doll of this capsule collection and she looks fierce! The horns are removable, so no worries about that. She reminds me of Simi from the Dark Hunters dolls that IT had released back in 2010 (that one had the Anja sculpt). Dark and goth but make it Japanese, Kumi looks gorgeous and I am definitely entering the lottery for her, so that I can match her with her twin. I love her hard rock band look and especially her grommet covered boots and amazing guitar. Hairstyle and make up are almost perfect. For the older collectors - doesn’t she remind you of Ann Wilson from Heart? She has an extra pair of flat feet legs included. Her bag reminds me of the one that Gala Glow Up Zuri has.

A great idea: Poppy Parker as a Valentine’s Day gift set! And in a gorgeous box too! She comes with two outfits and many accessories. The doll has the Misty Hollows screening (and hairstyle) and that orange red lipstick looked more pure red on the presentation video. Her first outfit (the dress) again has Misty Hollow vibes/ It reminds me of old 60s dolls and I cannot say I am thrilled with it. Poppy is a high fashion model for me, so these looks do not thrill me at all. Same goes for the more early 70s second look with the polka dot bodysuit, gilet and shorts, combined with those striped socks. I love the heart shaped glasses and bag and the belt/pouch one but that’s it. I did enter the lottery but it was more for the whole package/novelty kind of thing. Did not win and frankly, it was just fine.

The new Meteor collection is a collaboration: Integrity Toys x Jason Kramer Designs!

Through a video presentation, Integrity Toys and the W Club unveiled a brand new Integrity Toys X Jason Kramer Designs collaboration. We knew that we would be seeing such a collaboration for this line soon, but now with which designer it would be. it was a welcome surprise as Jason is not only a great person but a very talented designer as well - we have already seen his work before on IT releases, one of them recently for Poppy Parker. For those who just discovered Jason, here is a brief bio:

Jason Kramer is a freelance costume designer and illustrator, living in Ashland, Oregon. He's been collecting and designing for fashion dolls since 2002. His favorite designers include Alexander McQueen, Valentino, and Jean-Paul Gaultier, among others.

The four dolls (two of them combined into a gift set) will be sold through a W Club lottery. Judging by the reactions during the presentation and social media, there will not be any left!

I have never warmed up to Navia, no matter the styling or style she was released with. She mostly looked cartoon-y and half-finished to me - until now. Dialling the oomph factor up by 100%, Jason managed to make her sultry and fierce, without looking cartoon-y. The dress is hot (the red colour he picked is no accident) and the accessories compliment it perfectly. And that sharp geometric bob is perfection. Anna W asked for the hair stylist’s name.

Zuri is probably my favourite sculpt of the Meteor line and especially when they paint her with a gap tooth - which here she has again. Add to that the distinctly inspired by her African roots look and you get a winner. What a fantastic doll. The sheer amount of jewellery makes her a moving target! Can you not love the lip-shaped bag? Dali’s surrealist Mae West sofa and Lulu Guiness’ clutch came instantly to mind.

Isn’t this a fabulous pair? A star and her stylist.I’m not a big fan of salmon pink - too many bad 80s memories - but Jason has managed to make it work here, combined with her aquamarine accessories and jewellery. As for the doll, Taliya here reminds me a bit of the Italian diva Mina in her youth (check the Balenicaga-Mina collab coming up). Kieron is fierce - both the doll and the outfit are out of this world. Maybe I would have done his eyes a bit more smokey, to enhance his look. Absolute perfection.

Integrity Toys X Sinuhe Guzman: Surrealist Gala two doll gift set

A few days ago, W Club informed us that there would be a live video presentation for a new collaboration, plus we got some photo clues. And a couple of days later, we were treated to a two-doll gift set, created exclusively by Mexican designer Sinuhe Guzman for the Integrity Toys X Sinuhe Guzman Collaboration.

If you are a long time fashion doll collector, it is impossible that you have never seen one of Sinuhe’s outfits before. His mastery of leather (vegan) and avant guard design and construction means that all his releases are highly coveted and sought after. I own two of his gorgeous ensembles and must say they look amazing on IT dolls. But who is Sinuhe? Let’s check out his bio as published by Integrity Toys.

Since Sinuhe Guzman was born in Mexico City into an artistic family that included an opera-singing mother, the love for art was always in the air. Collecting and dressing dolls started very early in his childhood as a natural way of expression.

He graduated in fashion design and merchandising, and then completed his education in Paris, studying haute couture techniques which he applied for years while dressing an exciting local clientele. However, the childhood doll bug soon bit again with even greater force, leading him to pivot his career exclusively to doll fashion design. Along the way, he won a couple of design contests at Integrity Toys conventions.

Now devoted to his international doll clientele through social media, he showcases new designs on his online store. He daydreams about dolls around the world wearing his designs and plots what they should wear next...

What an incredible gift set! And how awesome that, once again, Integrity Toys are collaborating with a very creative and amazing person, dearest Sinuhe Guzman! I must say that the price combined with the timing of delivery made me hesitate a lot upon entering the lottery, but after a day of deliberation, a very sobering check of my doll order chart (so necessary to have, thank you excel) and some talking with fellow collectors, I decided to take the plunge. Might have to sell a kidney after all.

Let’s begin with Vanessa. Despite what the email, the presentation, the reply from club liaisons to member messages and what Sinuhe says, it is my humble opinion that this is definitely the 1.0 sculpt and not 3.0. Starting with endless comparison photos in the club forum, my own eyes and, finally, the screening used on this doll, plus the videos, I can safely say she’s 1.0. Nose, lips, head size (especially width) all match the original sculpt and not the latest. The screening is the same used by many 1.0 Vanessa dolls: Ethereal Beauty, Evermore and Fame & Fortune. She looks also a lot like a blonde Night Warrior Vanessa.

UPDATE: W Club sent an email that confirmed she’s 1.0. Apparently the factory used a doll with 1.0 instead of a 3.0 head to work on the prototype and no one at Integrity Toys could tell. LOL

The outfit is really impressive with its embroidered opera coat and short mini dress underneath. The accessories remind me a lot of Pale Fire Vanessa’s ones, both in style and colours. It’s amazing and cool how Sinuhe manages to incorporate lots of Mexican influences in both doll outfits and accessories without it becoming folklore. And that egg shaped bag is awesome!

Veronique for once looks more youthful and avant guard than her younger sister, dressed in leather and fishnet! She could fit right inside Gianni Versace’s bondage collection if you change the sculls and foxes with medusa heads. The corset is fantastic and the accessories are also gorgeous (both have mobile phones), especially the shoes - same ones worn by her sister, both with SG initials incorporated in the heels. Gaga will want a pair! I love the bag that is essentially one huge bow. The screening is the one first seen on Sea-Devil Veronique from the Fairytale convention. Smashing!

New East 59th collection: The Four Seasons!

A new East 59th Collection of four dolls was unveiled two days ago, designed of course by Chris Stoeckel. It is named The Four Seasons Collection and the concept is that each East 59th doll is doing a glamorous ad campaign for a top clothing company, having four looks representing the four seasons: Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter. The doll screenings are all new, which is good, as they were beginning to be repetitive. Two dolls from the collection will be available via Integrity Toys' authorised dealers, but the "Summertime Outing" Evelyn Weaverton and "The Winds Of Winter" Victoire Roux dolls are IT Direct dolls and were only be available via a right-to-buy lottery for W Club members.

Despite the new screening, this Constance reminds me a lot of the first one. After all, Chris says it is based on the first one for inspiration. I’m not in love with the print of the dress (and matching coat lining) but love the colour combination of blue and yellow. She has shopping bags as accessories, and an umbrella, which sadly is not functioning. Wonder how many more people would go for her if her umbrella could open.

 She’s the one I coveted from this collection. I like her look, both doll and outfit. But the real attraction is the picnic set in a wicker hamper, which is something we have not seen before at IT and looks amazing. The wicker matching purse is the cherry on top. The screening is a modified updated version of the first screening, with a more sultry look, per Chris. Gorgeous.

First time with a forward eye screening for Della, yet she still looks a lot like before to me. I’m not crazy about her blonde hair/blue eyes combo, she always looks so much better in darker colouring. Just imagine her in a dark brown bubble cut with brown eyes. Her outfit is very chic, with that lovely hat and bag, and her design portfolio suits it just fine. Pity her jewellery is very basic.

For her ad campaign, she thought it would be even better to stroll in with her own adorable poodle Mimi and a gorgeous bouquet of roses. Victoire is dressed for winter and has a dog as well! The fabric print looks great but I think she would look even better if it was in shades of emerald green to contrast her red hair. Would have also preferred some fur trim on the collar, hat and gloves (and she could come without the dog and flowers to offset the cost). Lovely jewellery and bag. The new screening has different eyebrows and looks a bit more sultry. The Winds of Winter is so Game Of Thrones!
