The outfit of the collection is a very Versace inspired look, with the straps and golden accents and cut outs reminiscent of the brand’s 90’s bondage collection. This will look gorgeous on any doll and I like that by removing the skirt you get a swimsuit that also comes with a bath robe. I wish they stopped using filters on their photos - it makes them kind of blurry, which is not what one wants when looking for the details of a product for sale. Also, anyone who already has a GMColl body, please let us know about the marks that appear near the elbow joint on both upper arms and lower arms. They look like the breakout spots of 3d printing supports and appear on all dolls shown in the collection. I already placed my order for this.

Azealia is one of the two older sculpts from GMColl that I always wanted to get and now is a good opportunity - she’s breathtaking! Her dress is shorter than the one worn by Lucia, hence the slightly cheaper price. The design with the patch pockets is interesting when with the skirt, but it looks weird as a swimsuit. It seems like all dolls have the same bad in different colours, not a very creative choice. The bathrobe is matching the outfit colour here. Fingers crossed!

"A Brief Encounter" marks the return of the long missing Francesco Leon!

W Club members were pleasantly surprised by the long-awaited return of Francisco Leon! The FR Homme character, one of the first two male dolls issued by Integrity Toys back in 2006, made his come-back in a look very much reminiscent of his first iteration, Hypnotic. The original release was a close up doll, as the basic editions were named back then. He had flocked hair, a sleeveless t-shirt, briefs, a cross pendant (mine arrived back then with the pendant missing and, when newbie FR collector me contacted Patient Care, a very kind and helpful Alain Trembley offered to send me his own!), a towel, a shaving razor, a shaving brush, a toothbrush and flip flops. He was accompanied back then by his paramour, Pierre, the other male character that marked the beginning of FR Homme dolls. And you know what? This year marks the 20th anniversary of that release - it has been twenty years of FR Homme and Integrity failed to mark the occasion. Vanessa was nicely situated in her cabana at Henri 7’s new resort property on the outskirts of Barcelona. While her sister liked mostly to work, Vanessa liked to balance her work with a healthy dose of play, and so she took an extra few days to play before her meetings with management about the contemplated W Cosmetics spa partnership. As she lounged, she scoured the pool area, looking at the beautiful women and men with their hard bodies glistening in the sun. She spotted a toned guy in a freshly manscaped beard across the pool, sporting what almost looked like underwear. The smile on her face from all that beauty slowly turned into a scowl. “Merde,” Vanessa muttered under her breath. “That couldn’t possibly be… of course it is. That man is always parading around in his undergarments!” It was Spanish playboy Francisco Leon. Francisco had come from an upper-class Spanish family, but they weren’t in the uber-elite echelon. So, Francisco tried to climb his way up to the top tier of social status the easiest way possible—by “aligning” himself with wealthy and powerful women. Over time, he had been linked to various NU. Face Agency models, including Erin Salston and Colette Duranger. But before that, Francisco had a fling with Vanessa Perrin herself and that got a bit… messy. And in recent years, Francisco seemed to just disappear. Now, here he was, looking just as good as ever, but Vanessa knew better. She was torn. On one hand, she didn’t want him to see her. On the other, she looked good, and that was always a thing to flaunt. Plus, Vanessa was nosy, and she wanted to know what Francisco was up to. She went back and forth for a few minutes, but ultimately made up her mind that she was going to walk a lap around the pool in her bikini top, skirt and sunglasses so she could monitor the situation without making eye contact. She got up off the lounge chair, tugged at her outfit and made everything look just so and put her glasses on. Back in 2006, alongside the Modern Pompadour collection (Fashion Royalty dolls, basic and dressed), the FR Homme Close Up collection debuted and I was lucky enough to be just beginning my FR collecting. The basic dolls back then were named Close Up dolls - and it looks like IT is bringing the name back for the current basic releases. Francisco and Pierre were the first two characters that debuted in the line, coming each as a basic doll, with two gorgeous additional outfits available separately for purchase plus a dressed Pierre De Vries doll with a totally different look than his basic one. Later in the year we got a male dress form, an IFDC Pierre, an FR convention (Jason Wu Event III) variant of the dressed Pierre and ονε Francisco release (Hi FLy) plus a FAO exclusive gift set from the Model Behaviour collection (the NU Face forerunner) alongside Erin (Power Couple). I have all the dealer doll and outfit releases and they are very close to my heart. And while this Francisco is really handsome and I am entering the lottery for him, it is a failed opportunity for Integrity Toys to celebrate 20 years of FR Homme dolls and maybe give us a gift set of Pierre and Francisco together. Just a reminder: the close up male dolls back then were $49.99!

The London Look Poppy Parker Collection has been revealed!

We usually get a Poppy Parker collection around this time of the year lately and Integrity Toys did the unveiling of the much anticipated new mod collection, named The London Look. We had our first taste of this collection with the W Club registration Poppy and here we are getting five more Poppy Parker Collection dolls (in four offerings), all created by Integrity Toys designer, David Buttry. The overall concept is that Poppy and her friends travel to swinging London to shop for the trendiest looks at the hippest boutiques. We get three Poppy dolls, one Darla and one Ginger.

The mod collections are usually the most popular between Poppy Parker collectors, and this one looks like it is no exception. First up we have a blonde, short-haired Poppy, using a very recent screening (Glamorous Pink, which I do not have). There was no boutique with that name in London back then and I wonder if they would have allowed such a title for a store front sign. She’s a perfect fit for the mod look and we get two outfits plus loads of accessories and an extra pair of high-heeled legs. Despite the short hair, the screening does not make her look like Twiggy (like She’s Not There), but she’s a bit more mature looking. David’s print reminds me of Rudi Gernreich’s work. Glad I was confirmed by my dealer.

I love Darla but I wish they would give her more extravagant hair styles instead of fluffed up pony tails. She has a gorgeous outfit, with that textured coat and lovely matching dress and belt, plus a golden mini dress that fits her singing career. That dress looks like what Jolie James was wearing in her first appearance back in 2014 (that one had a trim at the edges though and it was probably by an YSL original). Her accessories are fantastic (all dolls have the Poppy clothes hanger, a shopping bag and a shoe box plus the extra high heeled feet) and the bag and earring are especially brilliant. Hope I win her in the lottery.

Having played Twiggy a couple of times, it is now Peggy Moffit’s turn to be impersonated by Poppy Parker. And she does a pretty good job at it, even though it is the overall styling, outfits et al, that help cement the impression. I love her and will enter the lottery for her hoping to win but I wish she would have had a more pronounced make up, like Peggy did in most of her photos back then, and also a better trimmed five-point haircut, like the one Vidal Sassoon did on her. David said that this is one of the rare dolls he goes out of the usual route and I say go all the way instead of stopping at half point. Love the pattern of the first dress, designed by David and custom printed for the production, but also adore the window pane check dress with the peter pan collar. The faux fur coat is gorgeous in that shocking pink as is the square-handled bag she sports. Fab fab doll. Finger crossed I win the lotterly.

While Poppy was tied up in morning business meetings, Ginger Gilroy got to hit the town and do a little shopping of her own at her favorite boutique, "Too Much!" A two-doll gift set is nothing new for the Poppy Parker collection and here we get another one, with Ginger and Poppy hitting the fashionable Carnaby Street in swinging London, Ginger in a pant suit looks quite different from her usual styles and I love her colour combo (Poppy had that comb in inverse in her & Darla’s gift set as uni girls). Poppy has a dollybird styled look, which I am not a fan of at all, although the doll herself is quite beautiful and has brown eyes. The price is a little higher than what we got before for two doll Poppy sets. I am not entering for this one. Would love to have that green top of Ginger’s though.

The 2026 W Club year first offering: a pair of Jason Wu Collection dolls - Aymeline and Anais

The 2026 W Club year begins with two doll opportunities from designer Jason Wu, dressed in miniature looks inspired by creations from his Fall/Winter 2023 collection: "Mars Rising" Anais Perrin and "Mystic Moon" Aymeline Perrin. The dolls were presented by Alain Trembley and Carol Roth in a live presentation exclusive to the club, which also served as a “town hall” meeting for the start of the club year. The dolls were well received and. despite some video glitches, the event was just fine. Let’s see what all the fuss is about.

The Story:

There were a lot of Perrins involved in W Cosmetics already, and Véronique didn’t want the brand to feel like a family drama, so she skipped the Paris fashion week shows. Her cousin Aymeline was completely lovely, and Véronique respected her decision to make her way on her own. Anais, though, was a different story. She was wildly unpredictable and a polemist at heart. With all that Véronique had going on, she was happy to keep her head down and focus on work. However, there was another duo that had a very different attitude. Missima Cosmetics was plotting a big comeback, and its owner—Natalia Fatalé—alongside her conniving partner, Kyori Sato, were popping up everywhere. They wondered if they could gain some advantage or work an angle by trying to woo the next gen Perrins. Agnes von Weiss was in attendance at the show as well. It was a great place for her to get “inspiration” for whatever would be next for AvW. Her recent stunts had put the new brand on the map in a big way, so why stop now? As the show was nearing its conclusion, Kyori had an idea to approach Anais backstage. Natalia agreed. When she and Natalia got up, Agnes decided to follow. “Perhaps a new inspiration I am not aware of?” she thought, smiling to herself. As Natalia and Kyori approached Anais, the photographers started snapping pictures. Agnes ran to catch up. As Anais turned around, cigarette in hand while still wearing her gorgeous Mars Rising red couture gown, Kyori and Natalia were positioned on her left and Agnes on her right. The media had snapped the perfect pic. Anais rolled her eyes and turned away. But it was too late. The narrative had been set. Everyone saw the new, hottest model in gorgeous couture, who also happened to be a Perrin, sandwiched between a slew of her cousins' biggest rivals—and it was all anyone could talk about.

First up is the second ever iteration of Anais, this time in a darker skin tone and a more structured Jason Wu gown on her. I think it is too soon to see Anais in totally different skin tones. She has to become more familiar and embedded in the Fashion Royalty line up to get that treatment - and then again, I am not sure it was needed. Aymeline had the opposite route - her first iteration was dark skinned, then all the later ones were pale Caucasian dolls, so maybe it hearkens to that course, which, again, is a bit weird. it is always good to have a dark skinned doll in the line up but I’d prefer to see the characters that match those skin tones more often, instead of switching them for the sake of it. This could have been reserved for a special event doll or something similar. Having said that, she is a gorgeous looking lady, who would have looked so much better with a different hairstyle. This one is too matronly and conservative for a supposed “polemist”. A less stiff, more relaxed bob cut would have looked perfect.

She is now in the regular Fashion Royalty body, instead of the NU Face one that she had in her first reveal. As for the gown, taken from the Jason Wu Fall 2023 RTW Collection, the fabric makes it look more stiff and structured than the original, with the bodice draping completely omitted and replaced by horizontal panels. They have done draping on bodices before, so I do not get this decision, which is definitely connected to the type of fabric used. And because of it, we are also losing the moire effect of the original gown. As if to compensate, we get a flat pair of feet with kitten heel shoes in addition to the high-heeled feet and sandals, a lovely metallic clutch (not a given with Jason Wu dolls) and an imposing, Ancient Egyptian looking necklace paired with huge drop earrings, a dramatic ring and a wrist watch, not present on the original look. As a dressed doll she looks fantastic. As a miniature iteration of a runway look from an established fashion designer it is a slight failure.

Aymeline had worked relentlessly to build her reputation on her own. The last thing she wanted was to be considered a “nepo baby” in the fashion industry, so she curated her image and relationships very carefully. But now that her sister Anais decided to join the industry, everything was turning into a circus. The Perrin name that Aymeline had dropped was now front and center of headlines, with the “next generation of Perrin sisters” feeding the media frenzy. Aymeline loved her sister, but she didn’t necessarily always trust her decisions, as Anais thrived in chaos. But, at least for now, Anais was following her sister’s lead in staying away not only from their cousins’ cosmetics conglomerate, but also their big industry rivals. Aymeline had tried to focus on couture and runway work, but with Anais now working Paris Fashion Week with her, she worried that her curated image might become jeopardized. As Aymeline sauntered down the runway with her signature walk wearing her gorgeous, romantic Mystic Moon gown, all eyes were on her. She felt calm and at home. Finally, the pit that she had in her stomach all day subsided. But that changed in a minute as soon as she got backstage. She saw Anais in the corner, smoking. On one side of her she spotted AvW’s Agnes von Weiss, and the other side of her the two masterminds of Missima Cosmetics, whose personal reputations were even bigger than their brand’s—Natalia Fatalé and Kyori Sato. The cameras’ flashes were going wild. Aymeline turned in disgust. “She is going to hear about this!”

Aymeline has a very romantic look here, both in her make up and hairstyle, as well as her gown, again from the Jason Wu Fall 2023 RTW Collection, in contrast to the more structured look of her younger sister. I wonder how it would have played out if they had the opposite styles. Her face is soft and sultry, with the winged eyeliner becoming her signature. Integrity Toys is playing it very safe with these dolls, even though they are using the old AvantGuard sculpts in scaled form. They could have given them both more fashion forward styling, even the one used on the Wu runway. they did a much better job in translating the gown down to doll size on this one. if I am lucky to get the doll, I will try to have her neck ruffle stay up, like in the runway dress. We are getting lots of accessories here as well, with a bag in its dust cover, an intriguing pair of bracelets that look like hands grasping the doll’s wrists, a ring and bold hoop earrings. No flat feet for this one though, which is a missed opportunity. She’s in a rarely used skin tone, porcelain.

Dolly Days by Integrity Toys - Day 2: Cosmic Kin Collection by Danilo Cerović

For the second day of Dolly-Days™, a new NU. Fantasy offering, the Cosmic Kin Collection was unveiled during a video presentation exclusive to W Club members. The two new dolls were created exclusively by designer and artist Danilo Cerović for the Danilo Cerović X Integrity Toys Collaboration.

Danilo Cerović is a Belgrade-based designer, born in 1995 in Prokuplje, Serbia. After studying fashion design in Belgrade, he was awarded a scholarship to continue his education in Rome, where he specialized in costume design for opera and ballet. Danilo begins his creations by making a drawing. His pencil is the starting point for his ideas and fantasies, guiding each project from the first sketch to the final design. Through high fashion, he brings to life dreamy worlds where ballerinas, mermaids, princesses, and fairies coexist. What a fantastic doll! I have been following Danilo and his awesome creativity through his Instagram profile for quite some time now, and this collaboration with Integrity Toys is very much deserved. He has a unique vision and his creations are beautiful and impressive, and so is this doll. Nyasha is looking gorgeous here, with her golden armour and gown. The accessories and make up help define and embellish the final look, making this a very strong presence. Extra points for the amazing headdress. The blue detailing on the gold makes the look adjacent to ancient civilizations like Egypt and Mesopotamia. I’m entering the lottery for her.

The second doll is the opposite, in terms of colouring and concept, to the first one, but still breathtakingly beautiful. It does not hurt that she looks a lot like two previous Luchia iterations with the Isha sculpt, Go North (IFDC 2011) and Shimmering Copper (ITBE 2013), both very sought after dolls. The outfit is spectacular, with the sculpted armour bodice (which reminds me a lot of the ones Issey Miyake made in the 80s) combined with a cloud of organza for the skirt. The ornaments and accessories are very original and fit the theme perfectly. I also like the fact that instead of doing a matching copy of the dress from the first doll in black, Danilo really went into it and created a great opposite force of a doll. The veil can be used in very creative ways when styling the doll. I entered for this one too.
